Bevel Planetary Gearbox

Bevel-Planetary gearbox is a type of gearbox that uses combination of bevel gear and Planetary gear to transmit power at 90-degree angle. They are commonly used in a wide range of industrial and commercial applications, such as power plants, material handling, fertilizer plant, sugar plant, pharmaceutical industries, chemical industries, plastic industries, textile industries, steel Industries, etc.

Bevel Planetary Gearbox is a type of gearbox that uses bevel gear stage at the input and the output of bevel gear stage is internally connected to Planetary Gear Box.

The first bevel stage makes it feasible to transmit the power at a 90-degree angle with very good efficiency (unlike Worm Gear Box). Thus, these are used when there is a space limitation for mounting motor in line or where overhang load of motor has to be reduced.

These are specially used where the output torque requirements are quite high (with right angle input), as Planetary Gear Box is more economical and compact for handling high torque compared to Helical Gear Box.

These type of right angle gear boxes are reversible from output to input ( Unlike Worm Gear Boxes). Some applications demand reversibility whereas in some applications, reversibility is not desired (such as hoisting etc.). These type of gear boxes are used where the reversibility is desired.

These type of Gear boxes are used for right angle transmission applications. They are commonly used in a wide range of industrial and commercial applications, such as Slewing Gear Boxes, Power Plants, Material Handling, Fertilizer Plant, Sugar Plant, Pharmaceutical Industries, Chemical Industries, Plastic Industries, Textile Industries Etc.

These type of gear boxes are also known as Bevel Planetary Gear Reducers or Bevel Planetary Drives.
